Hoag Receives MOMS Champion for Babies and Families Award, Recognizing Hoag’s Longstanding Impact on Mothers, Infants and Families Across Orange County

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (June 24, 2026) — Hoag announced today it has received the Champion for Babies and Families Award from MOMS, a nonprofit organization that supports high-risk, underserved pregnant women and infants throughout Orange County. This award recognizes Hoag’s significant contributions to improving outcomes for vulnerable mothers and babies in the community.
Hoag was presented with this award at the MOMS Rhythms of Healthy Beginnings, Bright Futures gala on Saturday, June 6 in Irvine. Hoag was one of only two recognized organizations and was celebrated during the event for its role in advancing maternal health and early childhood development so that every family has a chance to thrive.
As a partner to MOMS for almost 30 years, Hoag, through the Melinda Hoag Smith Center for Healthy Living, has helped strengthen the nonprofit’s impact on pregnancy, early childhood development, and parents’ ability to teach and nurture their children early on. Hoag does this by delivering community programs such as the Mommy & Me and Opening Doors class series, which provide families with education, developmental enrichment, advocacy tools, and community connections that support children’s health, learning, and long-term success.
Hoag is honored to receive this award and looks forward to supporting the well-being of Orange County families for years to come. Learn more about Hoag’s community health initiatives.
