Hoag Named Business of the Year by the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce

IRVINE, Calif. (June 11, 2026) — Hoag has been named Business of the Year by the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the health system's contributions to innovation, economic vitality and community impact across Irvine and Orange County.
The award was presented as part of the Chamber's annual Celebrate Irvine event.
The recognition comes as Hoag continues to expand its presence in Irvine, including the September 2026 opening of the expanded Hoag Hospital Irvine Sun Family Campus, reinforcing its long-term commitment to delivering advanced, patient-centered care while serving as a major employer and economic engine for the region.
“What makes me most proud is that Hoag continues to earn the trust of Irvine, while growing alongside it,” said Robert T. Braithwaite, Hoag president and CEO. “As we prepare to open the new Sun Family Campus in Irvine this fall, we’re expanding access to world-class care and creating an experience designed entirely around patients and families.”
Hoag's integrated care model combines leading physicians, advanced technology and specialized institutes with a focus on delivering seamless, high-quality care close to home. Since its founding, the organization has expanded services throughout Orange County while earning national recognition for clinical excellence and patient outcomes.
The Greater Irvine Chamber's Business of the Year award recognizes organizations that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, business success and commitment to strengthening the local community and economy.
