    Underserved Members of the Community

    Under the Department of Community Health, the Mental Health Center at Hoag Hospital has been providing outpatient mental health services since 1998. The goal of the Mental Health Center is to improve the health and well-being of the surrounding under resourced and underserved community, through the provision of free psychotherapy services. These services are intended to increase an individual’s level of happiness, level of satisfaction and functioning in life.
