About Dr. Naqvi
As a daughter of two immigrant physicians, Dr. Naqvi was exposed to the field of medicine at an early age and saw the tremendous impact her parents’ work had on their community. Wanting to follow in their footsteps, Dr. Naqvi knew that becoming a doctor was the right choice for her.
Dr. Naqvi is passionate about her work and chose the field of pediatrics as she believes it has the best patient population. She is inspired by her patients’ optimism, sincerity, and future aspirations, and is excited to be their resource and partner in health. As she states, “The positive interactions with my patients make my day. I enjoy each visit and getting to know each patient on an individual basis.”
In her practice, Dr. Naqvi focuses on a team-based approach where she collaborates with both patients and parents to provide a personalized plan for each child. She places an emphasis on education while addressing the physical, social and emotional well-being of her patients.
A southern California native, Dr. Naqvi attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies, received her medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital before returning home to Orange County. She grew up speaking English and Urdu, and has conversational knowledge of Spanish.
When she is away from the office, Dr. Naqvi enjoys going to the beach, exploring nature, learning to play various instruments and reading.
