About Dr. Resa

A “kid at heart” and a son of a pediatrician, Dr. Resa witnessed firsthand the happiness and satisfaction his father derived from his profession. He always held his dad’s career in high regard and when it came time for him to select his profession, he followed in his dad’s footsteps, a career he knew was well suited for him.

Collaboration is at the heart of Dr. Resa’ s practice. He appreciates the role of the parents as they are the experts on their children, and he views himself as the expert in pediatric medicine. Together they work as a team with a common goal.

Dr. Resa finds it especially rewarding knowing that he can make a difference in a child’s life. He enjoys serving as a resource and partner to both his patients and their family. As he states, “I enjoy meeting my patients and hearing their stories. It provides me a way to give back to my community and that is very important to me.”

Originally from central California, Dr. Resa went to Stanford University for his undergraduate education, attended University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and completed his residency at Brown University.

When he is away from the office, Dr. Resa enjoys playing bridge and golf as well as travelling to new places.
