State-of-the-Art EP Cath Lab Suite
The Jeffrey M. Carlton Heart & Vascular Institute is home to eight cardiac catheterization labs (cath lab); six at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach and two at Hoag Hospital Irvine. A cath lab is where physicians can diagnose or treat heart conditions, such as cardiac arrhythmias, through a less-invasive catheter procedure instead of surgery.
