Amy Nguyen, Patient Care Coordinator
Amy is thrilled to serve the patients of the Hoag Pelvic Health Program
while working alongside a passionate and caring team. With prospects of
applying to a Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the future, she hopes
to learn from a talented team that specializes in treating pelvic floor
dysfunction and promotes overall wellness.
Since high school, Amy has avidly pursued a future in physical therapy.
She received a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine
University in 2016 with a particular interest in advocating health and
fitness for all individuals. As a teaching and research assistant, Amy
helped design a neurological exercise program for older adults. She also
worked at a women’s wellness center, interned at a physical therapy
clinic, and taught a weekly HIIT exercise class for students and faculty
on campus. Upon graduating, Amy worked as a physical therapy aide for
an outpatient private practice and volunteered in the orthopedic rehab
unit of a hospital.
Whether it is flag football or hiking, Amy loves being outside and sharing
life with others in her free time. She is an active member of her church
and seeks to reach out to both the local and global community.
