Brittany Carrillo, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services at California State University, Fullerton and a Master of Social Work Degree at University of Southern California. Brittany has worked at Hoag Hospital since 2013.  

She found her passion in healthcare working in Registration at Hoag and graduating on to Health Social Work. She has worked at both campuses over the years coordinating patient transfers and advocating for patient discharge needs, and moved into her current role as a palliative care clinical social worker after recognizing her desire to meet patient and families in a deeper capacity.  

Brittany values her new role providing education, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual support to patient and families facing a serious illness, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She feels honored to be able to help patients navigate through the health system and identify what is most important to them during very sensitive times in their lives. In her off time, Brittany’s passions including traveling, exercising, food & wine tasting.
