As the leading provider of maternity services in Orange County, Hoag offers comprehensive Maternal Child Services and OB EDUCATION resources to help you through all stages of your pregnancy. We offer a wide variety of educational classes in prepared childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care, infant safety and more.

Once registered to deliver at Hoag, you and your family will have access to a first-class experience. Included at the Sue and Bill Gross Women’s Pavilion is an advanced fetal diagnostic testing unit to monitor the health of both mother and her unborn baby in a comfortable and relaxed setting. A state-of-the-art seven-bed antepartum unit for women who require hospitalization prior to labor is located adjacent to the 18 fully equipped labor, delivery, and recovery suites. For women undergoing a cesarean section, the pavilion has three dedicated operating rooms and an experienced team whose highest priority is to provide safe, quality care to both mother and baby.

Breastfeeding Support Group

The Breastfeeding Support Group provides support and information to all new moms, and is facilitated by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) registered nurse. Together, moms will have the opportunity to share experiences in a supportive environment. This support group will be held virtually via Zoom. Instructions on how to access Zoom and meeting login details will be provided through email confirmation, once participants have completed the registration process.
