Hoag Medical Group Adds Two New Physicians in Tustin

TUSTIN, Calif., March 8, 2022 — Hoag Medical Group (HMG) announced today that Eric Khau, M.D., and Rukhsana Serang, DO, have joined the team at Hoag Health Center Tustin Legacy.

“With a growing demand for health care services in the Tustin community, we are excited to welcome Drs. Khau and Serang to Hoag Medical Group at Hoag Health Center Tustin Legacy,” said Martin J. Fee, M.D., senior vice president and chief clinical officer, Hoag. “Our health centers provide patients with direct access to all of Hoag’s specialist physicians, world-class facilities and resources right in their own backyard.”

Dr. Khau received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at University of California, Riverside. Dr. Khau enjoys providing care for his patients throughout their many stages of life. He also volunteered and offered his medical services abroad and served communities in Haiti, Nepal and China.

As a family medicine practioner, Dr. Serang takes great pride in building relationships with her patients. She graduated with honors in Physiology and Neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego and went on to earn her medical degree from Western University in California completing her academic residency training at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. 

Hoag Health Center Tustin Legacy is one of Hoag’s nine health centers located throughout Orange County. The 60,000-square-foot health center at The Village at Tustin Legacy provides access to internal medicine, family medicine, pediatric care and specialists, as well as Hoag Urgent Care – open seven-days a week with extended hours on weekdays and weekends – and imaging, laboratory services, and physical therapy.

The center also includes Orange Coast Women’s Medical Group for access to comprehensive women’s health services. OBGYN Angela Kim, M.D., is the newest addition to the team that includes Kim T. Lam, M.D., Mita Patel, M.D., and Certified Nurse Midwife Melissa Alexander, who all provide compassionate, quality care for the women of Tustin and surrounding neighborhoods.
