Alyssa DiLauro, PT, DPT

Alyssa is a physical therapist specializing in pelvic health for both men and women. Her passion for physical therapy began during her undergraduate time at Chapman University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Dance. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach and grow her interest in pelvic and orthopedic physical therapy. Through her continued specialization in pelvic health, she has also received her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

She enjoys helping with a variety of conditions, but has a special interest in treating painful intercourse, pregnancy pain, postpartum return to exercise, interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome, and post-menopause related conditions. She believes in the importance of creating individualized plans for her patients to help them reach their goals and optimal health. Alyssa loves working at Hoag due to their commitment to providing excellent, patient-centered, and multi-disciplinary care for all their patients.

Born and raised in Huntington Beach, Alyssa enjoys spending time at the beach and soaking up the sun. Her and her husband love to travel, try new food, and watch live music. On the weekends, you can find them playing with their dog and spending time with family and friends.
