Martin J. Fee, M.D.

As Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, Martin J. Fee, M.D., provides expertise, direction, guidance and daily operational oversight of Hoag strategic IT innovations, transformative clinical processes and the patient continuum of care. As part of this role, Dr. Fee also provides oversight of clinical operations for Hoag Medical Group.

Dr. Fee is a native of Sioux City, Iowa and received his M.D. degree with honors from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 1988. Dr. Fee completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center and his Infectious Disease Fellowship at USC+LA County Medical Center. He has been a practicing Infectious Disease Specialist at Hoag since 1994.

Dr. Fee has served in several other leadership roles at Hoag including Chair of Infection Control, Chair of the Department of Medicine, Member of the Hoag Board of the Directors, Chief Medical Information Officer, Chief of Staff, and Chief Clinical Care & Transformation Officer. Dr. Fee and his wife, Dr. Janis Fee, OB/GYN, have two adult children – a daughter who is an OB/GYN resident and a son who is an environmental engineer.
