Dr. Kambria Hittelman serves as the Executive Director of Neurobehavioral Health at Pickup Family Neurosciences Institute at Hoag. Dr. Hittelman oversees all the administrative and clinical responsibilities related to Neurobehavioral services, which includes Hoag Addiction Treatment Centers, ASPIRE Program, and the Consult and Liaison Psychiatric Services. Dr. Hittelman’s most recent experience includes holding the positions of Clinical Director and Executive Director of Promises Treatment Centers in Malibu, CA. During this time, Dr. Hittelman introduced new programming and led the process to expand the psychiatric treatment capabilities for patients with co-occurring disorders. Prior to moving to California, Dr. Hittelman worked at a hospital in Brooklyn, New York as a staff psychologist and Clinical Coordinator of acute psychiatric units where she engaged with multidisciplinary teams and gained exposure to an array of psychiatric disorders. Dr. Hittelman received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco. She completed her clinical training at the Iris Center and Walden House in San Francisco, where she worked with men and women in recovery.
