Local Community Programs
Hoag believes that hospitals can significantly improve the health and well-being of the community through collaboration with other not-for-profit community service organizations with a passion for serving the vulnerable population. In order to promote effective access to health care and related services, the department of Community Health collaborates with a broad array of community based not-for-profit organizations, and provides grant funding to some organizations whose services are consistent with our Community Benefit priorities.
In any given year, Community Health collaborates with more than 60 community-based organizations, with many of the hospital’s leadership team, physicians and staff actively participating on a multitude of levels within these organizations.
