Types of Gynecologic Cancers
A Gynecologic Oncologist is an obstetrician/gynecologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of women with cancer of the reproductive organs. More specifically, a gynecologic oncologist treats cancer of the ovary, endometrium, uterus, cervix and vagina.
Hoag's Gynecologic Robotic Surgery team consists of three expert gynecologic oncologists: Lisa N. Abaid, M.D., John V. Brown, M.D and Alberto A. Mendivil, M.D.
