Speech Language Pathology

spoken or written language
- Dysarthria – disturbance in the strength or coordination of
the muscles of the speech mechanism
- Apraxia – difficulty sequencing movements or actions related

and muscle tension dysphonia
- Dysphagia – swallowing difficulties. Interventions include
diagnostic procedures: modified barium swallow and fiberoptic endoscopic
evaluation of swallowing. Treatment may include exercise, neuromuscular
stimulation and biofeedback.
