In addition, Hoag is proud to have an affiliation with Greater Newport Physicians (GNP), an Independent Practice Association (IPA) of 500 Hoag-affiliated physicians who provide comprehensive care to patients with HMO coverage. GNP was recently recognized with “Elite” status in the California Association of Physician Groups’ Standards of Excellence program, with measures based on quality care, technology, and patient satisfaction. GNP is the only medical group offering Medicare beneficiaries full access to Hoag through Medicare Advantage plans.
