Hoag Hospital Irvine opened in September 2010. Hoag Hospital Irvine provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including a fully staffed emergency room.
Located on Sand Canyon and Alton Parkway, just off the 405 freeway, this new campus will be an extension of Hoag's services in Newport Beach and its seven Hoag Health Centers throughout Orange County.

Hospital Newport Beach as a designated Cardiovascular Receiving Center (CVRC),
awarded by the Orange
County Emergency Medical Services (OCEMS).
With this designation, Irvine/South County residents can now be taken to Hoag Hospital Irvine for emergency cardiac care.
Infusion Center in Irvine offers services for cancer and non-cancer patients in
Irvine and the surrounding community. The center is open Monday through Friday
from 8am-4:30pm and is located at 16300 Sand Canyon Ave, in Suite 504.
The Information Desk is located inside the main entrance. Attendants are available to assist with room direction and other information.
Free on-site parking is available.
We understand the importance of visitors for our patients' emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. Family, friends and clergy may visit during the hours listed below. Please be advised, visitors may be asked by staff to leave, especially if a patient needs rest. Any visitor with symptoms or signs of a communicable illness or disease should not visit the hospital. Also, due to infection control guidelines, children under a certain age may not visit specific areas, as indicated below.
General Medical/Surgical Units
Critical Care (ICU/CCU/CVICU/Sub ICU)
- Visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
There are several lounges throughout the hospital. Please see the floor map to find an appropriate lounge. Family and friends of those having surgery may want to stay in the surgery lounge located next to the Courtyard Café on the first floor of the main hospital.
A customer service representative is available to answer specific financial questions or to receive a payment Monday through Friday in the Cashiers office. Telephones/Cellular Phones and pagers may be used in the hospital except in the critical care areas (ICU, CCU, CVICU and Sub ICU).
Hoag is a smoke-free campus. No smoking is allowed.
Automatic Teller Machines (ATM's)
ATM's are available in the cafeteria.
US Mail Drops
US Mail drop boxes and stamp machines are located at the main entrance of the hospital and in the convenience center.
Concerns or Questions
If there is a concern regarding patient care, please notify the caregiver or a supervisor. Patient Relations representatives can assist with patient rights, problems or concerns, interpretation of hospital policy and procedure, or lost items. The Patient Relations staff is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at 949-764-8220. If you need immediate assistance after regular business hours, contact the charge nurse or nurse supervisor. They can be reached by calling the hospital operator at 949-764-HOAG (4624).
Gift Galleria Hours
Hoag's Gift Galleria features an array of specialty items including cards, magazines, clothing, fresh flowers and snacks. Friends and family can now give the gift of entertainment by purchasing Skylight TV gift cards at the Gift Galleria. The Gift Galleria is located on the Lobby Level on the right hand side. It is just before the staircase going down to the Cafe.
Monday -- Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Orders can be placed by phone for floral arrangements, baby gifts, clothing or Skylight Access TV gift cards (Skylight TV is accessible in every patient room with the exception of critical care, same day services and the mother/baby unit).

There are several nearby hotels and short-term lodging facilities in Newport Beach and Irvine. Family members of patients at Hoag can also receive a special rate at some of the local hotels.
